Burke and Wills Expedition
Recently it was the 150th Anniversary of the Trans-Australian Expedition led by Robert O’Hara Burke and William John Wills. It was the first expedition that went across Austraila and the scientific records from the expedition are still of significance today. It was also full of remarkable tragedy as only one of the members managed to make it back, and both of the leaders perished on the journey back. Find out more about this event in this video.
